This is a group for people who wish to get together and celebrate the ancient art of poetry -- that is, the expression of thought through structured verse. We invite people to make use of tried-and-true traditional poetic structures --- as well as to experiment with new poetic structures.

This experiential gathering was created to give women a space to: Quiet the mind ~ Breathe into the Void ~ Speak from the Heart. Using various contemplative techniques such as meditation, ritual, chanting and heart-centered sharing, we will focus our attention around quotes, readings and thoughts from various writers, poets, great thinkers and doers.
