Berks Bards is a non-profit group active in the Greater Reading region since 1999. It promotes poetry as “living art” for ordinary people. Monthly poetry readings feature an invited poet and an open mic. They also host special poetry events for the Literary Festival in October and BardFest in April.

We are a group of book lovers who promote local authors by creating space for authors and readers to connect by setting up a time and a venue in which they can meet, greet, and have the author sign books and chat with those attending.
