The St. Louis Poetry Meetup group is a very informal, friendly and non-pretentious way to share poetry that we like to read and/or write.

Writers and poets tend to be quite introverted types, but even the most reclusive of writers needs to chat with a colleague now and then. This group is intended for writers and poets with published (or nearly published) works who wish to connect with others who understand by experience both the angst and joy of writing and are equally driven and dedicated to their craft.
