This is a group designed for writer's in the area. The best way to improve the craft is through practice, so why not have a writer's circle where we can share our work and offer positive criticism? This is for anyone who loves to write, whether it's your vocation or just a hobby. All writing is welcome, fiction and non-fiction.  Anyone who loves to put pen to paper, or more accurately fingers to keyboard, this is the group for you.  

Why? There’s no creative community in Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs. That’s a shame. We know there are plenty of creatives out here who want to connect with other creatives, network a bit and learn a few tricks. Right now, we’re all dispersed. There are tons of meet-ups in downtown Chicago (either at 7AM or 6PM) which is very inconvenient for many of us located in Lake county. I started this group in hopes of replicating my favorite literary group, The Inklings (e.g., C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Williams).
