This is a new social group for aspiring and practicing TV writers west of the 405. We meet on the third Thursday of each month at a different location for drinks. The group can be whatever you want it to be, whether you want to meet other writers, bounce your ideas off someone, exchange scripts for notes, or just drink and talk about TV while discovering new bars. Very casual, no rules. Preferably people that are in the business already but anyone is welcome.

The Saturday Afternoon Poetry Workshop at Beyond Baroque happens every Saturday at 1:30 pm and ends at 4:30. The facilitator is Bob Foster. Poems are read and critiqued in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. All levels of expertise/experience are welcome! Bring at least 10 copies of your poem (which should be no longer than two pages). The workshop is free and meets in Beyond Baroque's bookstore at 681 Venice Boulevard in Venice, California.
